A joint project by Interserve and Kajima to deliver the design build and maintenance of seven secondary schools across Hertfordshire, Luton and Reading with a gross internal floor area of approximately 65,000m2 and a construction cost of approximately £125m.
The project aimed to provide learning environments that were both highly sustainable and flexible. In order to deliver on their objectives Interserve required highly efficient plumbing systems.
Peglers' VSH XPress carbon was used in the installation of the heating and cooling system whilst VSH XPress Copper was used for the domestic hot and cold water services. In addition, VSH XPress Stainless Steel was used for Gas applications and a range of Pegler Valves were used to provide greater system efficiency.
