Motel One in Newcastle is a city centre hotel designed to provide high standards of service, high-quality materials and good designs all for ‘Little Money’. The German based chain has experienced successful growth in its native country and is looking for further expansion throughout Europe. Its Newcastle development is situated in an enviable city centre location, just a short distance from the city’s Central Station and just 12km from Newcastle International Airport.

Project Profile
The £11m project was undertaken by Kier Construction with Malones Mechanical Engineers subcontracting.
Peglers' VSH XPress Copper and Carbon ranges were chosen to deliver the domestic heating and cooling systems along with the hot and cold water services. The main advantage of choosing this system was its heat free installation method and ease of use particularly in space restricted applications. A range of Pegler Valves were also installed to aid with increased building efficiency.
