The Tower Bridge Magistrates Court, London, redevelopment encompasses the design, build and creation of a 191-bedroom boutique hotel situated within the Tower Bridge Conservation Area.
The £30 million project delivered by the Dominvs Group, sees the conversion of the Grade 11 listed 1906 John Dixon Butler Police Station and the Magistrates Court as well as a newbuild extension to the rear. The original facades on Tooley Street were retained, restored and refurbished to create a four-star plus hotel along with a restaurant, bar, deli-style café, gym and conference rooms.
Following a successful partnership on a previous project, mechanical engineering contractors, CHC, chose Pegler to deliver the necessary products for a high quality heating and domestic service installation. The products used included VSH XPress Copper along with a range of Pegler Commercial Valves and VSH Tectite multilayer flexible pipe. The combination of these products along with a high level of support and service offered by Pegler ensured an efficient and successful heat free installation.
